Located in the leafy area of Caterham on the Hill, Foxon Close has a lot of history to share.
Our History.
Foxon Close
In 1998, Fairclough Homes bought the site known as Foxon Close and undertook the task of building 23 detached private homes. Situated within a 3 acre site, the houses share a large communal open space with landscaped gardens and private driveways.
Foxon Close Residents Association is managed through a private company Brockwood Management Company Ltd. The Directors are elected from the owner/shareholders within the Close.
Why Brockwood?
The Brockwood Management Company Limited took its name from a badgers sett discovered during the excavations of the development in 1994.
After a detailed consultation with the local authority and a local badger group, it was agreed that although the sett had been dormant for some time, Fairclough Homes (the developer) would construct an artificial sett and plant a protective hawthorn hedge around the site to encourage the return of the badgers.
The development was marketed as Brockwood from that point onwards.
